The XLIX art project is a collaboration of over 30 female artists. Griet Van den Auwelant designed one original clay doll, a mold was cast and  identical concrete dolls were created. 

I'm proud to be apart of this circle of cosmic female artists. I created doll  IX naming her Gaia, represents the spirit of the earth with elements that envelope the entire cosmos. She rose above the chaos, above materialistic worldly things and stands as a figure of strength, asks you to be mindful about our relationship with Mother Earth. Gaia is here to remind you to enjoy the ocean, land, nature, cultures & all heritages and appreciate it, respect it but most of all be mindful.
